This statement sets out the commitment of HostLogic Limited to respecting human rights, protecting the environment and maintaining appropriate working conditions in how we run our business and choose our suppliers and subcontractors. It is provided to clients as part of outsourced service provider due diligence, and published here in full.

HostLogic is the sole contracting party for its client engagements. Specialist scopes such as website design, development and SEO are delivered by an engaged subcontracted specialist team, who are required to operate to the standards set out in this statement.

Human rights and working conditions

HostLogic supports the principles of the UN Universal Declaration of Human Rights and the International Labour Organization’s fundamental conventions. We comply fully with Irish employment law, including in respect of pay, working time, leave, and health and safety. All work is performed by adults who are employed or engaged freely and on lawful terms; we prohibit child labour, forced labour and human trafficking in our business and in our supply chain. We are committed to a workplace free of discrimination, harassment and victimisation, and to equal treatment regardless of gender, age, disability, race, religion, sexual orientation, family status, civil status or membership of the Traveller community, in line with the Employment Equality Acts.

Supply chain

As a digital services business, our supply chain consists of established technology providers and subcontracted specialist services rather than manufacturing or offshore labour. We select suppliers and subcontractors that operate lawfully and to recognised standards, require subcontractors to operate to the principles in this statement, and will cease to use any supplier or subcontractor found to be in material breach of those principles.

Environment

Our environmental footprint is low: we operate cloud-first with remote working, minimal travel and no manufacturing, and our hosting is provided from modern, energy-efficient EU data centres. We nonetheless commit to minimising our impact by preferring energy-efficient infrastructure, avoiding unnecessary hardware purchases, recycling electronic equipment responsibly, and operating largely paper-free.

Governance and review

This statement is owned by the Managing Director, applies to HostLogic Limited and to all staff, contractors and subcontractors engaged in delivering client services, and is reviewed annually or on material change. Concerns may be raised confidentially with the Managing Director and will be investigated without reprisal.
